Hostel accommodation
Limited hostel accommodation is available. Accommodation reservations are made here.
Hostel accommodation will be available from Tuesday 4 October until Sunday 9 October. Daily check-in is from 14:00, and checkout is by 10:00 on the day of departure. Everyone is requested to vacate their rooms by 10:00 on Sunday.
Accommodation is provided on a Bed, Breakfast and Boxed Lunch basis. No other meals will be provided. Meat, vegetarian or health lunch options are available and should be selected when booking.
A typical lunch would be
Meat option: Grilled chicken wrap with crisps, fruit and a juice
Vegetarian: Grilled veg wrap with crisps, fruit and a juice
Healthy option: Sesame chicken noodle salad (Noodles, chicken, cabbage, carrots, red peppers, sugar snaps, onions, sesame dressing)
Regrettably, no other dietary requirements can be catered for by the hostel.
All bedrooms are shared by either 2, 3 or 4 people in single beds (no double bunks). Should you wish to share a room with friends, please send an email to ghqg.secretary@gmail.com with the name(s) of the friends. The subject heading of the email must read SHARED ACCOMMODATION. The organisers will do their best to accommodate your needs.
Bedding is NOT provided. Please bring all your bedding (or arrange it with a local friend) - sheet(s), a pillow and pillowcase, blanket/sleeping bag. You may want to add a quilt to brighten your room. Remember to bring a towel too.
Private Accommodation
Should you wish to stay in private accommodation, make your arrangements early as Stellenbosch is a popular town. There are numerous places available in the vicinity.
