Mari Claase

The highlight of Mari’s quilting career was definitely in 2001 when she won Best Use Of Colour at a World Quilt Competition in the USA.  Mari has been a National Quilt Teacher since 2002, a Master Quilter since 2008 and a Fibre Works member since 2019.  Her work is colourful, joyful, very creative and unique.  She loves strong design and a great variety of textures and techniques in every piece she makes.  Different themes inspire her, and she finds great joy in teaching some of her unusual methods to her very enthusiastic students.
