Dal Botha

Dal has been a traditional quilter for the past 30 years.  She became interested in fibre art several years ago, and although she maintains her traditional roots, she now concentrates more on developing her creativity.  Dal has completed the Teacher’s Accreditation Course and is an Accredited Quilt Judge.  She is a member of FACT, the Fibre Artists of Cape Town and also curates the Annual Art of Thread fibre art exhibition that forms part of the Fine Art Festival, Fynarts in Hermanus.  Her work has been shown in various galleries in the Western Cape.
