“That is the universal question every quilter asks themselves at least 7 gazillion times in their quilt journey, no matter their skill level. If you are lucky, the plan just pops up loud and clear in your mind with voice-assisted instructions (like the GPS lady…) of what to do where and when. That doesn’t happen very often so don’t feel alone if that feeling is unfamiliar to you. Most of the time we have to work at creating the plan so let’s take a look at how that process can develop and get your creative juices flowing. This will be a no-sew drawing class where you will be supplied with several traditional public domain quilt blocks on paper along with a clear plastic sheet and a dry-wipe marker pen. We will then explore various ways of quilting those blocks, taking into account your skill level, machine type, tools available and how daring you want to be. You’ll be shown lots of tips, tricks, ideas like using rulers and stencils and will go home inspired to take on your next quilt. This class is perfect for every quilter of every level doing hand, walking foot, freehand domestic, freehand longarm or computerized quilting. Join us even if you haven’t started quilting yet. See you in class!”
