This is Marline’s very best Appliqué Technique.  Marline will provide you with a pattern (especially drawn for this class).  Marline will then teach you how you too can get hooked on the fun of hand appliqué.  You will learn how to make beautiful curvy stems, deliciously sharp-pointed leaves and wonderful petals and berries.  Marline has all kinds of hints tips and ideas to help you make your very own Prizewinning Quilt. 

Student Requirements:

A pattern sheet will be provided to each student. Marline will discuss the thread in the class and bring the thread for you to start your project.

• Basic Sewing Supplies
• Fabric for the top:
  o 50 cm fabric for the background.
  o Small pieces of fabric for stems, leaves, berries and flowers
• Appliqué needles
• Marking pencil with white lead
• 3B Pencil
• Matching thread
• Quick unpick
• A pair of scissors
