Details
This course teaches you to get away from very specific and painstaking cutting and sewing using the so-called free cutting technique. The design is very striking, without having to match or line up corners and seams. This makes it a very successful technique to learn in a few hours. The technique has been adapted from the book Blumen Patchwork by Bernadette Mayr (ISBN 3-332-01630-X). We will make one large poppy, approximately 40 cm x 70 cm. The end product can be used as a wall hanging or table runner. Cutting instructions to make a smaller version of the poppy will be included.
