In this class you will use your own imagination to create beautiful quilting designs to fill a whole cloth quilt.  You will learn how to use a ruler to do match stick quilting around the edge of your quilt.  Once all the quilting is done, you will use Tilly’s paint technique to paint your work.

Student Requirements:

The compulsory kit contains black 100% cotton fabric; batting; 1 x Isacord machine embroidery thread; Oil paint stick to use.

• Basic Sewing Supplies
• Marking pens: White / silver pencil
• Quilting gloves – nitrile coated preferable to rubber coated
• Small sharp scissors – curved if possible
• Straight quilting ruler
• Cutting mat and rotary cutter with new blade
• Quilt ruler
• Machine Presser Feet (included with BERNINA/bernette b05 machines):
  o Open toe presser foot or free motion embroidery presser foot or darning presser foot
  o Ruler presser foot
• Extension cord, 15 amp plug or adaptor, surge protector plug

NOTE: BERNINA and bernette b05 sewing machines with accessories will be provided (no machine rental will apply)
