We use Prairie Points (folded patchwork) of various sizes to make up a square which starts as a circle.  Can be used as a block in a quilt or as a cushion, wall hanging or bag.

Student Requirements:

• The optional kit contains quilting fabrics, background fabric and sewing thread. Choose 1 of 4 optional kits:
  • Grey and Cerise, or
  • Autumn, or
  • Forrest, or
  • Azure
• Basic Sewing Supplies
• Fabric requirements (if optional fabric kit is not purchased):
  • 7 or more 20cm x 110cm quilting fabrics: 2 light, 2 medium, 2 dark, 1 zinger in colours of your choice – batik, small print, plain works best
  • 40cm square of plain/white/cream fabric [calico] for the background which won’t show when finished
• Sewing thread to match fabrics
• Small cutting mat and rotary cutter with new blade
• Quilt ruler
• Hand sewing needles and pins, sewing scissors
• Pen or pencil
