Jelly Rolls are such fun to play with.  You can make an entire quilt top in a morning.  Come and have a fun day learning how to manipulate the jelly rolls to give you a magnificent quilt top.  Jelly rolls are pre-cut beautifully coordinated fabrics that save you hours of cutting and of course thinking and matching fabrics.  Suitable for beginners and all those that love quick quilts.

Student Requirements:

The quilt can be made as a table runner (175cm x 35cm) or single bed quilt top

• Basic Sewing Supplies
• Fabric:
  o Table runner: 1 Jelly Roll or 20-inch x 2.5-inch pre-cut strips width of fabric in a variety of matching colours.
  o Single Quilt Top: 1 Jelly Roll for a single bed quilt top (if you want a bigger quilt top, bring 2 Jelly Rolls) or 40-inch x 2.5-inch pre-cut strips width of fabric in a variety of matching fabrics
• Machine Threads:
  o Thread to match Jelly Roll.
  o Light and Medium Grey to go with all fabrics
• Cutting mat and rotary cutter with a new blade
• Scissors (big and small sharp ones)
• Quilt rulers:
  o 10 and/or 12 inches;
  o 24-inch quilt ruler,
  o 6.5-inch x 6.5-inch square ruler
• Spray Starch
• Fabric Marker (blue fabric erasable/soluble pen, white pencil and HB pencil)
• Machine Stitch Card
• Sewing Machine in good working order with all accessories;
  o Quarter-inch presser foot,
  o Walking foot
• Universal sewing machine size 80/12 needles
• Extension cord, 15 amp plug or adaptor, surge protector plug
