Pan African Friendship Challenge
This was a first in South Africa! This Challenge was not a competition, rather a challenge to get to know our quilters in neighbouring African countries!
By joining the Challenge, quilters were given the opportunity to ‘twin’ with an African quilter, to get to know her, to understand the challenges she faces in her patchwork and quilting. She, too, benefited from the interaction, possibly with new ideas, techniques, even some mentoring.
