We’re thrilled to welcome you to the Fynbos Quilt Festival - a celebration of creativity, community, and colour! Whether you’re a teacher, vendor, or participant, it’s time to secure your spot.


All bookings for the festival are handled online via a link on our website. Please read through the steps below before starting your booking.

 

1.            FILL IN & SUBMIT THE ONLINE BOOKING FORM


The online booking form will take you through the various steps, but will also give you guidance along the way. Just follow the order that appears in the booking form, and you WILL get an opportunity to book for everything that you want to. (You will also be able to use the “Back” button if you forgot to add something or changed your mind.)

 

It is very important to make all your decisions beforehand regarding:

a)         Which CLASSES you want to attend

b)         Which EVENING FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS you want to attend and

c)         Which dates you would like to book for HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION (if applicable) 

 

All the necessary information can be found on the website. Make a note of your choices and have it handy when you fill in the online form, which should then not take more than about 10 minutes to complete.

 

A few important notes:

 

All participants, teachers and vendors MUST book via the online form. 

  1. Vendor’s assistants must each make their own individual booking.
  2. Only submit ONE online entry per person! (All duplicate entries will be deleted)
  3. Make sure of all your choices before clicking the “Submit” button right at the end.
  4. If you want to cancel or change anything (after you have submitted the form), you have to contact the registrar (Lucille) at e-mail: registratn.fynbosquiltfestival@gmail.com

 

Your entry will only reach us after you have clicked the “Submit” button (at the very end), and then you will receive an automatically-generated copy of your entry form, which serves as confirmation that your booking request has been successfully submitted, and that we will receive it. (We recommend that you do NOT print it out, since it will most likely be multiple pages. Just keep an electronic copy for your own records.)

 

2.            RECEIVE AN INVOICE


Once we have received you booking entry, it will be processed by our Registrar, who will e-mail you an invoice (based on availability). (We anticipate a slight delay with the issuing of invoices after bookings open, but will operate strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.)

 

3.            PAY THE INVOICE VIA EFT


Payment can only be made via EFT, and should be done immediately after receiving your invoice.

Payment must reflect in our bank account within 3 days of invoice date.

 

4.            CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS:


You will then receive a Booking Confirmation from the Registrar, listing all the items for which your spot has been reserved.

 

Your bookings will therefore only be confirmed for your choices after:

(i) You have paid the invoice (in full)

(ii) Your payment has been confirmed as received by our Treasurer (Karen)

(iii) You have received a booking confirmation e-mail from the Registrar (Lucille)

(iv) There is availability for the selected class / function / accommodation

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTES


a)         Booking is on a first come, first served basis.

b)         A small waiting list will be maintained for Sold Out items

c)         Keep an eye on your email for updates and confirmations

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES POLICY


Changes:

Any additions to your existing bookings will be done at no extra charge.

An admin fee of R50 will be charged for any changes (i.e. substitutions or item cancellations) to your bookings, and substitutions will only be possible if there are spaces left.

(It cannot be guaranteed that any changes will be possible after 30 September 2025.) 

 

Cancellations:


Cancellation of any item/s received up to Tuesday 30 September will  be refunded less a R50 admin fee.

Cancellation of any item/s received after Tuesday 30 September will not be refundable.
