Mari Strydom

Mari is an internationally award-winning quilt artist and experienced SAQG Accredited Quilt Teacher and judge.  She knows no boundaries and has a talent for teaching.  She believes that every quilter has the power and potential to create something beautiful.  Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, making mistakes, and having fun.  She equips her students with the knowledge to encourage them to move on to create from within themselves in a stress-free environment.  She urges them to develop their unique style by empowering her students, not just duplicating a class.  She wants them to have fun, expand their skills and enjoy the creative process.  The smile on a student’s face when she has mastered something is her reward.
