Kathryn Celliers-Louw has been involved in Arts and Crafts since she was very young. At eighteen, she started making quilts on commission to augment her income. She has won several prizes in National and Regional Quilting competitions and has taught at various festivals and retreats. Her work has been sold locally and overseas, including at the illustrious Ricky Tims Gallery, in the USA. Her work is innovative, and she continuously creates new techniques. Kathryn is a SAQG Accredited Quilting Teacher whose teaching motto is to teach participants new techniques. She encourages students not just to copy her work and feels well satisfied when a new student starts branching out. Her strong points are her use of colour and embellishment and her love of folded patchwork and fabric manipulation.
