Come to this class to learn the ins and outs of hand quilting with embroidery thread. It is definitely not traditional quilting or embroidery!  This is an easy way of embellishing and quilting simultaneously as Sue has done in many of her award-winning quilts.

Student Requirements:

The compulsory kit contains a 12-inch quilt - machine quilted and ready for hand stitching

• Basic Sewing Supplies
• Thread:
  o Any hand embroidery threads that you have at home.
  o Variegated perlé embroidery threads.
  o White Seralon thread
• An embroidery or quilting hoop no bigger than 8 inches
• A 6-inch strip of muslin or light coloured cotton fabric
• A thimble - if you use one
• Small sharp scissors to cut embroidery threads
• Hand embroidery needles - size 7
